Abstract
Science learning can be related to values ??to shape the character of students in accordance with educational goals, namely to form students who are intellectually intelligent and obedient to the commands of Allah SWT. One of the practical teaching materials that can be used to shape the Islamic character of students is handouts. This study aims to develop handouts and describe the responses of teachers and students to the integrated handouts of Islamic character values ??in atomic structure material. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Samalanga involving 3 chemistry teachers and 26 students in class X IPA 2. The results of the data analysis showed that the validation of the eligibility of the handout was feasible with a percentage of 81.11%. The results of teacher and student responses to the integrated handout of Islamic character values ??included very good criteria with respective percentages of 91.67% and 86.81%. Based on these results it is recommended that this handout be implemented.
