Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi COVID-19 yang difokuskan pada pemahaman, penggunaan dan kriteria pemilihan ICT yang dilakukan oleh guru Sains di Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis data secara deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang telah dikembangkan sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yang disebarkan melalui media sosial kepada guru sekolah menengah pertama dan atas di Provinsi Aceh, Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Pemahaman guru terhadap ICT dalam proses pembelajaran masa pandemi ini masih kurang. Mengingat pelatihan atau workshop yang diikuti selama ini kurang mendukung untuk pembelajaran full secara online masa pandemi. Selanjutnya penggunaan ICT oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran sangat ditentukan oleh faktor kesiapan dan kemampuan guru terhadap perangkat ICT yang digunakan itu. Kriteria pemilihan ICT dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi COVID-19 sangat ditentukan oleh materi, karakteristik, faktor ekonomi serta letak geografis wilayah sekolah yang diajarkan oleh masing-masing guru. Aplikasi atau platform yang digunakan selama pandemi COVID-19 haru bersifat efektif dan efisien baik dari guru maupun dari siswa itu sendiri.
